It pays to go green
It’s not very often that we’re given an opportunity to earn some money and lower our energy bills at
the same time. It’s even rarer when that opportunity is backed by the Government but, since April 2010,
with the introduction of the Feed-in Tariff Scheme (FIT), every single homeowner and commercial property
owner stands to benefit, providing their homes are suitable.
... and there are no catches
Under this scheme you will get paid for generating your own electricity for a period of 25 years; if
you don’t use all you generate, it gets sold back to the national grid and you earn even more. If you
have solar panels installed and use only top quality products, they will carry on working for more than
25 years, and you’ll continue to have lower energy bills. It really is a win-win situation.
The decision to have solar panels installed isn’t really a hard one to take is it? Deciding on which
